Will and Tori met in high school and dated for 6 years before tying the knot. He proposed on the beach at sunset in San Diego (aww!) They are the most relaxed couple I have ever photographed in my life. Their wedding day was not about the details, the money, the dress, the party - none of the things most brides agonize over. They just wanted to become one.

The Marley's were married up on Mount Magazine June 1st this year - the foggiest day I have ever seen in my life. It had been storming that morning but the rain had slowed a little closer to lunch time. As I started traveling up the mountain I had to go slower and slower because before I knew it I couldn't see 10 feet up the road. Now there weren't any other cars around, and the occasional one that happened to pass by had their headlights on so I could see them coming - no big deal.... unless there happens to be a group of people running a marathon in the rain up the same road. What?!?! The only thing I could think of is that it had to be a crossfit group. I mean, it was really bad day to be out running up a mountain in the middle of the road with no warning to vehicles. After a few miles of slowly dodging overachievers I finally got through and realized I couldn't see the lodge. Mount Magazine Lodge. The lodge is huge. I couldn't find it. That's how much fog there was. Ridiculous.

The wonderful thing was that Tori wasn't really phased at all. She arrived at her cabin after her hair appointment like the weather was no big deal because the whole point of the day was to simply get married. 'Simple' is a wonderful word to describe their wedding day. They wanted to save their money to go on a big trip to London and Paris so their wedding was very small - only family and one close friend. The whole ceremony took about 7-8 minutes and it was done! We tried to get a few outdoor shots under sheltered areas, but you'll see from the pictures that a scenic view was impossible. Their precious dog was the best man, and he looked dashing in his little bow-tie. We even got a picture of him smiling!
