Kortney and Dakota were married out at the Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on May 12th (mother's day!) this year. Unfortunately this was in the middle of my severe blog lag but we are almost caught up! The Barn never disappoints on throwing an amazing event with the florals, decor, and planning. Kortney and Dakota opted to have a first look and it was so sweet! Kortney also wanted a first look with her dad and it was absolutely precious. We got some fabulous pictures of everyone and their day went about as smoothly as it possibly could have. I've never laughed so hard during the vows as I did at their wedding - a few lines including "I love you more than Sheldon loves his spot" and "I will love you for the rest of our numbered days: real, imaginary, and undefined" (I'm married to a math teacher, so this was much more hilarious to me than to some) and many more quirky, loving, memorable lines.
This was the first wedding I had done where the bride and groom put rocks signed and with notes from their guests in a glass box instead of a candle or sand. I thought the idea was really neat!
