Jaime and Jake were married October 17th at the always-gorgeous Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch. Their day was just beautiful, with perfect weather and stunning details. The two of them shared one of the most emotional and precious first-looks right before their ceremony and honestly the love they have for each other is nothing short of inspiring.

"We met when we were both stationed at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. I saw him in our office my first day there and though he was hot and that it was shame because at the time I had a strict no dating coworkers policy. However one night about a month after I got to the unit we ran into each other during a single soldiers event and ended up talking the rest of the night. We've been together ever since!"

These guys were hilarious! They had out little diagrams of how to tie a bowtie (after asking everyone in earshot) and finally had to google it!  Hearen-7 Hearen-8

This is why you have a second shooter. I cried my eyes out watching this special moment unfold and then again while editing! She took her place, and he was so excited to see her, hold her, kiss her, reassure her that everything was perfect and that he couldn't wait to say "I do".

I asked Jaime what her favorite part of the day was and her response brought me to tears - 
"My favorite part is a tossup between the first look and saying our vows. The first look brought me such a calming feeling, being able to see him for me was like being back home. Our vows though were so personal to us and the struggles we have already been through together and made through together, and the promise of joy that is yet to come." The groom's cake was Haupia. It is a coconut-flavored pudding (the consistency is between custard and gelatin) that is served at Luaus. The two were stationed in Hawaii and wanted to share a little bit of the island flavor with their guests.

Bacon Jam? Yes. Bacon Jam.
