Parker decided that April 30th was an excellent day to meet his parents.

They arrived at the hospital early that morning with labor pains and by noon was fully admitted and progressing smoothly. After the doctors broke Brittany's water she jumped up two centimeters almost immediately! By 4pm she was already at an 8 - and then stopped. Six hours later, for an unknown reason, progression had completely stalled out. Brittany was a champ though! Her epidural kept her nice and relaxed until the the decision was made to go ahead with a c-section around 10:20 or so.

Parker was born at 10:35 pm and I could hear him shouting his protests from the hallway! Once he got into his father's arms he settled down nice a quiet :) april15-14 april15-19 april15-21 april15-23 april15-24 april15-26 april15-31 april15-35 april15-40 april15-44 april15-45

After Brittany made it out of the recovery room she got to meet her son and hold him in her arms for the first time.  april15-52 april15-56 april15-60 april15-61 april15-65 april15-71 april15-72 Thank you, Brittany and Peter, for letting me be a part of such a special day. You two are going to be wonderful parents and I'm so happy to get to see little Parker every three months!
