Mr. and Mrs. Baker

"Josh and I met way back in high school when I was in 8th grade and he was in 10th. We became friends and began dating when I was 14 and he was 16. We dated on and off through high school. We started up again in 2008 and got engaged on September 1st, 2011. He had been teasing me about getting engaged much like Jim had done to Pam on The Office (we are huge fans and watch it each week together). One day I was rushing into his house to begin class and when I opened the door Josh was down on one knee and had a ring box. I told him I didn't have time for him to be playing around because I was in a hurry. He opened the box and there was a ring in it! He asked me then if I would marry him. I was so shocked! The proposal was a big deal for us because my grandmother was terminally ill and when Josh asked my parents permission he also had talked to my grandma and showed her the ring."

I (Tryston) first met Caroline when she booked me for her wedding and I met Josh when we all got together for their engagement session. Caroline is always smiling, which I think is funny because getting Josh to smile in front of my camera was like pulling teeth ;) The only time I see him really smile is when he looks at his Caroline. They are always joking and teasing each other and they do it just quietly enough that you can't hear what they are saying but then Caroline breaks out laughing and Josh looks down and smiles. They are so sweet together and I was honored to be their photographer for their big day. The wedding was so much fun! Caroline picked out a lot of bright colors to decorate the Hall with, there was tons of dancing including the always-popular dollar dance, and they even had a margarita machine at their reception! (thanks to Dennis Surratt)

This post will have some engagement photos, some of Caroline's gorgeous Brayberry Farm bridals, and  their beautiful St. Joseph Catholic Church wedding. Enjoy!

These three were hilarious... they performed "break dancing" pretty much all night.

And we'll end the night on a little "Thriller".
