Mr. and Mrs. Flickenger

"I first really met Rusty at Clinton Pee Wee football practice when my little sister kicked him in the shin. I had to go grab her up and apologize. Then my dad hired Rusty as a farm hand during the summer of 2007. On June 30th Rusty asked me to be his girlfriend while we were at a Rodeo. On August 2, 2011 he texted me at work and told me to not ask him any questions, just to do what he said. After I got off work I went and cleaned up. When I walked down to get in my car we was standing there with a thing of flowers. The then took me up to Mount Nebo and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!"

Ashley and Rusty were married on June 30th, 2012. I was honored to be their photographer that day and witness one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever been to. I was excited about their wedding for two reasons. 1) It was my first wedding using my new camera and lens (yay!) and 2) I knew it was going to be a gorgeous country-themed outdoor wedding.

There were a few hiccups (missing jewelry, busted boutonniere, bride's vows disappearing) but the day turned out beautifully. I normally don't post near the number of images you are about to see, but for some reason I just couldn't help it with this one.

It was at this moment that Ashley realized she was getting married that day, that it was finally here.

Meanwhile......

The first look <3 i="" just="" love="" how="" she="" peeked="" around="" the="">

All Rusty could say for about 10 minutes was "Holy cow... holy cow... holy cow!" He was so impressed with his bride and her dress that he couldn't take her eyes off of her. Every few shots I would say, "Okay, now both of you look at me" and Ashley would give me a dazzling smile and Rusty would just keep looking and smiling at his bride. I have never seen a groom act so happy to his bride :)

A family heirloom

There's always one oddball...

Fierce, haha!

The ring bearer stealing kisses :)

However, he wasn't so thrilled with me and my camera

Rusty's vows.

Such a beautiful ceremony!

A little spanx mishap ;)

Ashley's vows. She had to do it from memory because her card with the vows on it disappeared right before the ceremony! She did such a good job, and I think everyone teared up a little bit. I flat out cried behind my camera. It was a beautiful moment.

Ashley, you're going to have to tell me the story behind this shot!

A few detail shots from the ceremony and reception areas

Dollar dance!!!

Q-Tip anyone?

No? How about the sprinkler?!

Out of nowhere Ashley and her supertalented brother started doing the Tango!

It's time to get funky... clap, clap, clap your hands!

Now I know where Rusty gets that "I adore you" look :)

Ashley and Rusty, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day!
