I really love doing bridal sessions. The bride gets to feel like a princess for an hour without the stress of the wedding day and we have an opportunity to take our time and capture the bride and the dress creatively. It also gives the bride a preview of what she will look like on her special day so if she wants to change her hair style, headpiece, jewelry, etc. it's not a big deal! 

This particular session is one of my favorites. Lauren's dress was GORGEOUS and there wasn't a better time or place for pictures than November at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch. It gave us a different look than her wedding day (which was ridiculously cold the very last weekend of December) while still capturing that almost-winter feel. She wore a collection of bracelets that all had different meanings to her, a watch that she ALWAYS wears, and a pair of sparkly earrings. She wanted to keep it as simple as possible so that nothing distracted from the dress. In some of the pictures she is also wearing a fur shrug that her now-husband had given to her one Christmas. It came in handy on the wedding day for sure. The cold was pretty bad, but it was the wind that was killer! I'm still working on those images but hopefully they will be up in a couple weeks!
