A little over a year ago I was honored to be the wedding photographer for Kortney and Dakota, and just fell in love with the two of them. The love they share is so visible it makes your heart sing. I was so excited when Kortney contacted me and said she wanted to do a baby package - and not just any package - the most inclusive one. We did her maternity session out at the Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch where the two began their life together. I've got not-so-secret plans to do Lincoln's 1 year cake smash out there to wrap everything up nicely with a bow! 

I thought this was a fantastic first picture to start our day off with!

After 10 long hours we knew it just wasn't going to work out. Baby Lincoln was nice and snug and wanted to stay there! At that point Kortney was so relieved to have another option, so we suited up in our stylish yellow and blue and got ready for baby time! Below is the cheesiest picture I've seen in a while, and I now remember why it is that I'm not usually in pictures.

They wheeled Kortney away to get her prepped and I snagged this shot of the last time she was pregnant!

About 20 minutes later they came and got me and Dakota and about 10 minutes after that their precious boy was out!

Kortney and Dakota, thank you so much for letting me be a part of both of the most important days of your life together so far! It's a huge honor, and I can't wait to see how Lincoln changes every three months for the next year!
